“Dr. Sanjay Chitnis did his M.Tech from IIT Kanpur and Ph.D from the Dept. of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science in Machine Learning.. He has worked in Motorola and LG for over 22 years in various leadership roles. He shifted to academics in 2014 and took over as the Principal of CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He has worked as Director, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Chairman, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University and Dean, Computer Science at REVA University.

He has published 30 research papers, 3 book chapters and one patent. He has guided 3 PhD Scholars. He is a Senior IEEE Member and is involved in multiple professional activities. He is currently a General Co-Chair for the 11th IEEE International Conference for Cloud Computing in Emerging Markets. He was a member of EXECOM of IEEE Bangalore Section and Secretary of the IISc Alumni Association, Bangalore Chapter. “
