About
The Centre for Research in Education Studies and Training (CREST) has a multifaceted aim of providing a platform for research and training in education, at both school and higher education levels. In the background of the immense promise that a well-developed education system in a country holds, with quality, inclusivity, and diversity at its core, CREST has an intention to go to the grassroots by providing pre-service and in-service training to teachers, and administrators in schools and higher education institutions (HEIs) and also to undertake multi-disciplinary research in education that can offer direction to policymakers. The clientele for training programmes may also include administrators in State and local education departments, and teacher’s institutions like DIETs.

- To undertake research in education focusing on quality, inclusivity, and diversity at all levels of education.
- To collaborate with other teacher education institutions, and organizations like Teach for India on teacher training for schools.
- To offer training to administrators in school and higher education.
- To offer training to faculty in HEIs on pedagogy/andragogy in various areas such as multi-culturalism and inclusivity, technology in education, and effective student engagements.
