History

RV University’s inspiring journey began in 2021, governed by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) and rooted in the enduring legacy of RV Educational Institutions (RVEI). The Trust was founded in 1940 by Sri M.C. Sivananda Sarma, a visionary educationist who believed in the transformative power of learning for all sections of society.

What began as a humble single-classroom school has since grown into a network of 27 institutions, serving more than 20,000 students annually across disciplines. RVEI institutions span the full educational spectrum enabling students to grow through every stage of holistic learning, from kindergarten to postgraduate degrees and beyond.
