Ashwin Ram holds PhD from Madras School of Economics. His doctoral research investigated the complexities water governance and management in India. A significant part of his research examined the water use behavior of urban households. His future research intends to explore the the water food climate and energy nexus. His broad area of research interest is to understand the inter-linkages between development and environmental issues. Prior to his PhD, he had a very brief stint in development consulting where he has worked on energy related projects.
