Dr. Cynthia J serves as a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at RV University, Bengaluru. With over two and a half decades of distinguished academic and research experience, she has been instrumental in fostering innovation-driven learning and mentoring multiple cohorts of undergraduate and postgraduate students in computer science and allied disciplines. Her academic and research interests encompass Network Communication, Blockchain Technologies, Cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT). She has made significant contributions to curriculum design and applied research in these domains. Dr. Cynthia has also played a key role in formulating outcome-based academic programs that align with NAAC and NBA accreditation frameworks, ensuring quality assurance and enhancing employability outcomes for students.
She has successfully guided numerous student research projects and industry-linked initiatives, encouraging interdisciplinary approaches and practical innovation. Her ongoing research explores trust frameworks in smart automation, AI-driven analytics, and Industry 5.0 applications, with a particular focus on the intersection of AI ethics, digital transformation, and decentralized data management. An active contributor to academic outreach, Dr. Cynthia has organized several capacity-building programs, conferences, and faculty development initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between academia and emerging technologies. Beyond her teaching and research contributions, she is widely recognized for her leadership in strategic academic planning, mentoring, and fostering collaborative learning environments that inspire and empower the next generation of engineers and innovators.
