Julianna James is an artist and a performer hailing from Bangalore. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a writer and actor. She has an undergraduate degree from Christ University with a B.A. in Theatre Studies, English Literature, and Psychology. Following this, she pursued her M.F.A. in Acting and Writing for film, TV, and Theatre at the New York Film Academy (Los Angeles branch).

She has been an active member of the film and theatre industry in Bangalore for the past 10 years, working on theatre productions like Yasmina Reza’s ‘God of Carnage’, Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’, and Mahesh Dattani’s ‘Bravely Fought the Queen’. Her notable film work consists of a role in Amazon Prime’s ‘Be Happy’ alongside industry stalwarts such as Nassar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Nora Fatehi.

Julianna is also an accomplished model, working for brands like Nike, Amazon, Myntra, and Nykaa. Additionally, she works as a voice-over artist, writer, and artist. Her new venture into academia is marked by her desire to create young, enthusiastic storytellers and all-around good citizens. She is currently the faculty member in charge of the acting department of the School of Film, Media, and Creative Arts (SoFMCA).
