Fair, ethical, and transparent institutional guidelines governing student recruitment participation.
Corporate Relations coordinates all placement and internship activities across Schools. CAR facilitates processes but does not adjudicate disciplinary matters.
All placement-related violations are formally referred to the Student Disciplinary Committee (STDC) under the University’s Student Code of Conduct.
A student may participate in placements only if all of the following institutional criteria are satisfied:
- Academic Backlogs: No academic backlogs at the time of registering for placement drives (unless exceptionally permitted by a specific recruiter).
- Mandatory Training Attendance: Minimum 80% attendance in mandatory pre-placement training.
- Declaration Submission: Timely submission of the Placement Registration & Declaration Form.
- Experiential Fulfillment: Completion of required experiential components (internship / immersion / capstone), unless exceptionally approved by School leadership.
- Company Criteria: Compliance with all company-specific eligibility criteria and cut-offs.
- Disciplinary Standing: No pending disciplinary case or active sanctions with the Student Disciplinary Committee (STDC).
Training is an indispensable prerequisite designed to align cohort capability with industry benchmarks. Training consists of:
- Domain / Technical Training (School-specific): Advanced core competencies, technology stacks, algorithmic coding, financial engineering, and specialized legal frameworks.
- Soft Skills Training: Executive presence, business communication, group discussions, analytical presentations, and interview technique.
- Emotional, Behaviour & Networking Intelligence: Professional workplace etiquette, emotional resilience, situational judgment, and corporate networking.
⚠️ Mandatory Attendance Rule:
Minimum 80% attendance across all components is compulsory. Any restriction due to non-compliance is decided by the Dean of the School, in consultation with CAR.
To preserve institutional prestige and equitable recruitment opportunities, all participating students must:
- Genuine Applications: Apply only to roles and organisations the student is genuinely willing to join.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain highest standards of professional conduct and integrity at all stages of selection.
- Offer Honor Policy: Honour offers once selected, in line with institutional ethics and industry expectations.
- Prompt Reporting: Report any exceptional concerns, scheduling conflicts, or recruiter communications promptly to CAR.
- STDC Escalation: Any action resulting in reputational, institutional, or peer-level impact may be referred to STDC.
