Examinations are an integral part of an educational system. The office of the ‘Controller of Examinations’ is responsible for efficient planning, conducting and evaluation of all “Semester End Examinations” of the University. It ensures transparency, accuracy, accountability and timely processing of all exam-related activities in accordance with the University policies. The department manages the scheduling of examinations, preparation and distribution of hall tickets, coordination of invigilation duties and secure handling of question papers. It also oversees the evaluation process, result compilation and timely publishing of results. In addition to this, the exam section handles student queries, revaluation requests and issuance of official documents such as grade cards, transcripts and certificates. Continuous efforts are made to bring technology driven solutions to enhance efficiency, maintain confidentiality and improve examination experience for students and faculties. The department is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability in all its processes.
Objectives
- To conduct examinations as per the set process and regulations of the university.
- To adhere to academic calendar and to strictly follow statutory bodies’ rules and regulations.
- To maintain confidentiality and transparent evaluation procedure.
- Internal evaluation is based on specific requirements of respective schools.
- Award of degree to various UG and PG programs following university regulations.
- To update students’ data on National academic depository (NAD) portal.
- To give every student an opportunity to raise any concern after going through his answer script during regular examination.
