The cell’s responsibilities include creating awareness about women’s rights, providing a platform for discussion, promoting professional and personal development through various activities, and ensuring a campus free from injustice and harassment.

  5. Create a safe campus: To ensure a healthy, friendly, and secure environment for women to study and work.

Core functions and activities

  1. Conducting awareness programs and gender sensitization sessions.
  2. Organizing guest lectures on topics related to women’s health, nutrition, and legal rights.
  3. Supporting skill development and leadership training for women.
  4. Celebrating events like International Women’s Day.
  5. Providing a mechanism for redressal of grievances related to women’s issues.
Regular meetings:

The committee should hold formal meetings at the start and end of each semester to plan activities and review their effectiveness.
