Dr. Madhvi Sethi is a distinguished academic leader and finance scholar with over two decades of experience in management education, research, and institutional leadership. She currently serves as Dean, School of Business at RV University, Bengaluru.
She holds a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and a PhD in Finance, complemented by an MBA (Finance & Marketing).
Dr. Sethi has an extensive teaching portfolio spanning MBA and executive education programs, with expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial markets, and impact investing. Her rich academic experience includes prior roles at premier institutions such as XLRI Jamshedpur and Symbiosis International University.
A prolific researcher, she has published widely in reputed Scopus-indexed and ABDC-ranked journals, contributing to areas such as financial markets, sustainability, trade, and corporate strategy. She is also a published case author with Ivey Publishing and has co-authored a book with Cambridge University Press.
Beyond academia, Dr. Sethi actively engages with industry through executive education and consulting assignments for leading organizations such as Wipro, Infosys, ICICI, and L&T. Her contributions have been recognized through multiple awards, research grants, and international conference presentations.
