About

Dr. G. Vennira Selvi is a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Science at Presidency University with more than 22 years of teaching and research experience. She holds a Doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from Pondicherry University and an M.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. Her academic and research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, Smart Agriculture, and Intelligent Healthcare Systems.

Dr. Vennira Selvi has actively contributed to interdisciplinary research in emerging technologies such as Quantum AI, Digital Twins, Edge AI, and IoT-enabled smart systems. She has published more than 50 research papers in reputed international journals, conferences, and national conferences. In addition, she has authored books with prestigious publishers and contributed several book chapters in Scopus-indexed and CRC Press publications. She also holds multiple Indian patents, including design and international patents.

She has served as an editor, reviewer, session chair, and keynote speaker for various international journals and conferences. She has successfully organized seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, and conferences funded by organizations such as DST-SERB and ICSSR. Her recent research focuses on IoT-integrated intelligent systems for sustainable agriculture, healthcare monitoring, smart environments, and explainable AI applications.

Dr. Vennira Selvi is passionate about outcome-based education, innovative teaching methodologies, and research-driven learning. She continuously mentors students and researchers in emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Smart Computing technologies, contributing significantly to academic excellence and industry-oriented innovation.
