Prof. (Dr.) T.M. Srinath is a Professor of Practice in the School of Business at RV University, bringing over 35 years of distinguished leadership, techno-managerial expertise, and instructional experience to academia. As an alumnus of RVCE, his appointment at RV marks a poignant homecoming after three decades of exceptional service to the nation. Dr. Srinath holds a Post Graduate degree in Engineering (Digital Signal Processing) from IIT Madras, a Master of Management Studies, and a Ph.D. from Osmania University.

Prior to his academic transition, Dr. Srinath served as an Air Commodore in the Indian Air Force. His illustrious military career spans critical roles at the nucleus of strategic operations, including Operation Sindoor. A visionary leader, he engineered the secure, complex network backbone for the Air Force and was a founding member of the Aeronautical Categorisation Board. His commanding tenures include four communication units and a strategically vital Air Force Station in the North East. Nationally, he was the architect behind high-profile aerial events of national importance for Republic Day, Independence Day, and the G20 Summit, and he represented the IAF internationally in Turkey and France.

Dr. Srinath bridges the gap between classrooms and global ecosystems by leveraging his deep expertise in Radars, Signal Processing, Networks, and Satellite and Communication. He brings an unparalleled wealth of knowledge in navigating high-level governance, policy-making, and collaborations with premier corporate bodies, defence PSUs (HAL, BEL), and apex research organizations like ISRO and DRDO.

A strategic thinker, prolific motivator, and expert articulator, Dr. Srinath combines profound research bent of mind with out-of-the-box thinking. Having served at the highest echelons, he is dedicated to imparting critical leadership skills, a strong foundation in ethics, and strong communication techniques to his students, inspiring them to navigate the nuances of the professional world and discover new possibilities. He has received several awards in his career including Commendation by Chief of Air Staff, Commander in Chief and Chief of Integrated Staff.
