Dr. Alisha Pradhan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, RV University, Bengaluru. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from Sikkim University, where her doctoral research focused on socio-legal issues relating to divorced parents and the best interests of the child in India.

Prior to joining RV University, she served as an Assistant Professor at Presidency University, Bengaluru, and VIT-AP University, Andhra Pradesh, where she taught a range of law courses and actively contributed to academic, research, and institutional activities.

Her teaching and research interests include Family Law, Gender Justice, Feminist Jurisprudence, and Women and Child Law. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of law, gender, and social justice, with a focus on strengthening legal frameworks that promote equality and protect the rights of women and children.

Dr. Pradhan has published research in reputed journals and edited volumes on child custody, family law, privacy, and emerging legal issues.

Authored the book Child Rights Focusing on Guardianship and Custody Issues and co-authored Dynamics of Law and Society: Navigating Contemporary Legal Issues and Ethical Frontiers.

Current research explores the intersection of law, technology, and family justice, with a particular focus on the use of artificial intelligence in child custody and family law adjudication.
