Role of Women in Advertisements: A Paradigm ShiftWrite-up
This paper examines the evolving representation of women in advertising, tracing the shift from stereotypical, decorative portrayals toward more empowered, multidimensional depictions in contemporary campaigns. It explores how changing social attitudes, consumer expectations, and cultural conversations around gender have influenced advertising strategy and visual storytelling. The study reflects on the responsibility advertisers carry in shaping public perception, and how design and communication choices — imagery, tone, narrative framing — either reinforce or challenge existing gender norms. Positioned within the broader discourse on gender representation in media, the paper argues that this paradigm shift is not merely cosmetic but reflects deeper changes in how brands seek to build authentic, socially conscious relationships with audiences.

Expressive Typography on Book Covers
This paper investigates how expressive typographic treatment, variations in form, weight, spacing, and texture, shapes a reader's first impression of a book and communicates genre, mood, and narrative tone before a single page is turned. It explores typography as a storytelling device in its own right, capable of conveying emotion and meaning independent of imagery. Drawing on examples from contemporary book cover design, the study examines how designers use expressive type choices to differentiate titles within crowded markets while remaining faithful to a book's content and voice. The paper situates typography within the larger framework of visual communication design, arguing that cover design deserves the same critical and creative attention as editorial content itself.

Graphic Design and Environmental Sustainability
This paper examines the intersecting responsibilities of graphic design practice and environmental sustainability, exploring how designers can embed ecological consciousness into visual communication choices from material selection in print design to messaging that shapes public environmental awareness. It considers design's dual role: as an industry with its own environmental footprint, and as a communication tool capable of influencing sustainable behavior at scale. The study reflects on emerging practices such as sustainable packaging, eco-conscious branding, and visual campaigns for environmental causes, positioning graphic designers as active participants in sustainability discourse rather than passive service providers. The paper calls for greater integration of sustainability principles into design education and professional practice.

Kinetic Typography in Digital Media
This paper explores kinetic typography, text that moves, transforms, and responds within digital environments ,as a tool for enhancing communication, emotional resonance, and viewer engagement in digital media. It examines how motion adds a temporal and expressive dimension to text that static typography cannot achieve, allowing designers to control pacing, emphasis, and mood in ways closely tied to how a message is received. The study surveys applications across video content, social media, and interactive digital platforms, considering how kinetic type bridges graphic design and motion design disciplines. It also reflects on the growing relevance of this skill set for design students entering an increasingly digital-first communication landscape.

The Indian Government's Web Identity: An Analysis
This paper analyses the visual identity and design language employed across Indian government web platforms, examining how design choices — layout, typography, color, iconography ,shape public trust, accessibility, and usability in digital governance. It considers the unique challenges of designing for a linguistically and demographically diverse population, and evaluates how consistently (or inconsistently) government platforms communicate a unified national digital identity. The study reflects on the role of design in civic communication, arguing that thoughtful, user-centered design is essential not just for aesthetic coherence but for ensuring equitable access to government services and information. It situates the discussion within broader conversations on design for public institutions and digital governance.

Minimalistic Logo
This paper explores minimalism as a design strategy in logo design, examining how visual restraint simplified forms, limited color palettes, and reduced ornamentation can strengthen brand recall, versatility, and longevity. It considers why minimalist logos have become a dominant trend across contemporary branding, particularly in digital-first contexts where logos must scale and adapt across diverse platforms and screen sizes. The study reflects on the tension between simplicity and distinctiveness, exploring how designers achieve memorable brand identities without visual complexity. Drawing on examples from contemporary branding practice, the paper positions minimalism not as an aesthetic trend alone, but as a functional design response to the demands of a multi-platform visual culture.

Theme Design for Restaurant
This paper examines thematic design strategy in restaurant branding, exploring how cohesive visual and spatial identity including interiors, signage, menu design, and overall ambiance shape customer experience and brand perception. It considers how a well-executed design theme communicates a restaurant's concept and values before a single dish is served, influencing everything from customer expectations to repeat patronage. The study reflects on the interplay between graphic design, interior design, and experiential design in creating a unified dining identity, arguing that thematic coherence is a critical, often underestimated, driver of a restaurant's commercial and cultural success.
