About

A well-rounded HR & Organisation Development (OD) leader with 37+ years of industry experience across large public and private sector enterprises in India almost equally with additional exposure to the UAE as well. Over the years, He has worked across power, ports, terminals, logistics, steel, mines, automotive, and engineering-led environments. This has given him a strong understanding of how boards and leadership teams must balance growth, governance, talent, culture, and execution discipline. He led HR agendas spanning mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, greenfield organisation building, industrial relations, executive compensation, HR policies of benefits & developments type, talent management, learning & development, leadership development and succession planning. His core value proposition is enabling organisations to become learning ecosystems where business, leadership, and workforce strategy move in alignment by way of organizing MDPs & EDPs. He believes that HRM creates the greatest value when it is treated as a strategic governance lever that shapes organisation design, talent continuity, leadership accountability, and institutional resilience.

He is also a Certified Independent Director from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Min. of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India and has been on the boards of JSW Dharamtar Port Pvt Ltd., Southern Bulk Terminals Pvt Ltd. (subsidiary companies of JSWIL). Has worked in leading organizations like JSW Group and NTPC Ltd.

He firmly believes in relating practice to theory, concepts, the literature and has, hence, ventured into as a full time teaching Faculty. Has professional Certifications in Competency Mapping & Assessment; Psychometric Instruments in HRD & OD; Compensation & Benefits; HR Analytics; Labour Laws (XLRI); Advanced HR (SHRM); Hogan Leadership Assessment; SHL Personality & Ability Assessment. He has done his PhD from Amity University, NOIDA, UP in 2022.

Job Satisfaction (JS) Significantly Affects Organizational Commitment (OC) Enhanced connectedness with the job and its factors positively impacts OC.


Key Drivers of JS Role clarity, Reward & Recognition, Career Advancement, Training & Development, and Workplace Relationships are the most influential JS factors.


Key OC Enablers Organizational Culture, Job Identification, HR Policies, and Compensation & Benefits are prime levers for strengthening Organizational Commitment.


Central Pubic Sector Enterprises Vs Independent Power Producers Convergence Most JS and OC factors function similarly in both public and private sector power companies — only a few show statistically significant divergence.


Communication & Conflict Poor communication and dysfunctional conflicts significantly lower JS. High autonomy, positive culture, and good relationships directly boost OC.
