About

Kandikattu Sai Nandan is a finance scholar specializing in behavioural finance, asset pricing, and global market integration. He recently submitted his PhD thesis in Finance & Accounting at the Indian Institute of Management Indore, and holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Acharya Nagarjuna University.

His research examines how behavioural finance shapes international financial contagion and currency market dynamics. His job market paper, “Investor fear, Behavioural Contagion, and the global dollar cycle: Evidence from BRICS currency markets”, was recently published in the prestigious journal Economics Letters. His work has been presented at the Behavioural Finance Working Group Conference (London) and the 6th ICUFM Conference (Macau), and won Best Paper awards at DOCMAD-2025 and RSFE-2025.

Sai Nandan has taught Financial Economics at B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics University and Asset Pricing at Christ University, Pune, as a visiting faculty. His teaching interests include Financial Econometrics, Risk Management, quantitative trading, International Finance, and Applications of AI/ML in finance. He is a SAS (USA) certified polyglot programmer and brings prior industry experience as a Sales Manager, combining research rigour with practical business insight.
