Aparajita Neogi is an academic and researcher specializing in Pharmaceutical Analysis, driven by a curiosity for understanding how analytical science can contribute to better pharmaceutical research and practice. Her academic journey has involved research in pharmaceutical analysis, stability-indicating methods, bioanalytical studies, and nano-formulations, with several research publications and patents reflecting her commitment to scientific inquiry.
She believes that every classroom is an opportunity to inspire curiosity. As an educator, she strives to create a learning environment where students are encouraged to question, explore, experiment, and think beyond conventional boundaries. She views teaching and research as interconnected journeys—ones that build scientific knowledge while developing confidence, critical thinking, and a spirit of lifelong learning. Simultaneous estimation of neuro-active BCS Class II drugs: co-quantification methodology for poorly water-soluble neuropsychiatric/neurological agents in dosage forms and nano-formulations, addressing solubility- and permeability-driven analytical challenges characteristic of BCS Class II compounds.
Analytical & bioanalytical method development and validation: ICH Q2(R1)-compliant development of stability-indicating RP-HPLC, UV spectroscopic, and LC–MS/MS methods for small-molecule and bio-analyte quantification in pharmaceutical and biological matrices.
LC–MS/MS bioanalysis: Quantification of small molecules and biomarkers in complex biological matrices, including urinary biomarker estimation in disease-state populations.
Translational nanomedicine: RP-HPLC characterization of lipid- and polymer-based nanoparticulate systems for oncology and long-acting contraceptive applications.
Nano-lipid carrier systems: Encapsulation, and physicochemical characterization (particle size, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, DSC, FTIR) of lipid-based nanoparticulate carriers for combination drug delivery.
Research Interests
Translational pharmaceutical research, advanced analytical technologies, CNS targeted therapy, nano-enabled drug delivery systems, bioanalytical method development and stability-indicating analytical methods.
