About

Vinuth Paul is an academic and researcher specializing in Finance. He holds an M. Com from the University of Mysore and is completing his Ph.D. in Finance from Christ University, with research interests in financial cycles, financial markets, and macro-financial linkages. His research has been published in internationally indexed journals, including the International Journal of Emerging Markets (Q1) and the Journal of Financial Economic Policy (Q2). He has also published a teaching case and Book reviews in reputed Journals. He has also qualified for UGC-NET & JRF and KSET.

He has teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, having taught courses including Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Research Methodology, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Business Statistics, and Information Technology in Business. His academic responsibilities have also included student mentoring, curriculum development, accreditation activities, quality assurance, and academic administration. He has hands-on experience with Bloomberg Terminal, Python, R, SPSS, EViews, and MATLAB, integrating data-driven and experiential approaches into teaching and learning.

He has presented his research at several national and international conferences and has received a Best Paper Award for a case research presentation. His academic interests reflect a strong commitment to connecting rigorous research, industry-relevant financial analysis, and engaging classroom learning.
