Financial Aid & Support
At RV University, we believe that financial circumstances should never stand between a student and an exceptional education. Our financial aid framework is designed to recognise merit and ensure that the right support reaches those who need it — at every stage of your academic journey.
Scholarship for Children of RVEI Staff
RV University offers an annual scholarship of Rs. 25,000 to children of full-time employees of Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Educational Institutions (RVEI), including RV University and RVCE. This scholarship is renewable each year, subject to the continuation of the parent’s employment and the student’s satisfactory academic and disciplinary record. It reflects RVU’s commitment to supporting the families who are an integral part of its institutional fabric.
- RV University offers an annual scholarship of ₹25,000 to the children of employees working with Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Educational Institutions (RVEI), including RV University and RVCE.
- This scholarship is renewable each year, subject to the continuation of the parent’s employment and the student’s satisfactory academic and disciplinary record.
- It reflects RVU’s commitment to supporting the families who are an integral part of its institutional fabric.
Sporting and Special Category Scholarships
RVU recognises excellence beyond academics. Students who have represented their state or country in recognised sporting events are eligible for dedicated sports scholarships — up to 35% of tuition fee for national-level athletes and up to 50% for those competing at the international level. The RVU Alumni Scholarship additionally offers a tuition fee waiver of Rs. 50,000 for RVU graduates pursuing a master’s programme at the University.
- RVU recognises excellence beyond academics and offers Sporting and Special Category Scholarships to students with national or international level achievements.
- Eligible students include those who have represented the state or country in recognised sporting events or competitions.
- The quantum of scholarship is determined based on performance level, documentation, and committee review.
- These scholarships aim to encourage holistic growth and support students in balancing their academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
For the AY 2026-27 as per UGC guidelines letter dated 15 August 2026, Ref. No. D.O.No.F.12-5/2024 (FNT/NET), the cancelation and refund dates of RV University are listed below.

- In case the admission of the student is cancelled on account of disciplinary action or violation of Anti Ragging Regulations or breach of code of conduct or any other Rules and Regulations of the University, no refund of fees is permissible.
- Entrance Examinations Fees / Application Form Fees are non – refundable.
- In any other case which is not covered in the above Rules, the decision would be taken by the Vice Chancellor.
- Under the circumstance of cancellation because of any disciplinary action no refund will be paid against any Academic and/ or Hostel and/ or Other Fees.
