About

Sakib possesses more than 30 years of experience in both academia and industry, specializing in diverse areas of theoretical and applied computer science and mathematics, including machine learning, mathematical modeling, optimization theory, statistics and probability, graph theory, and software engineering.

He has worked for leading corporations such as Walmart, Flipkart, General Motors, IBM Research, and Infosys, contributing to multiple sectors including retail, automotive, media, and software services.

Sakib obtained his PhD from IIM Calcutta, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research. His research work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He has authored two books and holds several patents.
