Dr. Anandh Halgtti is an accomplished academician and industry professional with over 21 years of corporate experience across leading Fortune 500 technology-driven organizations, including EDS Technologies, Siemens Industry Software, ANSYS Software, OPTIS, and SONATA Software. Additionally, he is well versed with Enterprise Software Tools. (Saleforce, SAP, PLM Software, CAx)

He brings a unique blend of strong technical expertise and management acumen, supported by his academic qualifications in Engineering (B.E. and M.E.), Management (MBA), and a Ph.D. His extensive industry experience has enabled him to develop a practical and application-oriented approach to teaching, research, consulting, and industry engagement.
Drawing from his extensive experience in leading MNCs, he brings a process-driven and industry-oriented approach to higher education. He strongly believes that earning a degree is not merely an end goal, but it’s just a beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, growth, and professional development. He encourages students to build meaningful networks and lasting professional relationships that will enrich their career journey.

Prior to joining RV University (RVU), Dr. Anandh was associated with CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, where he actively contributed to teaching, industry-academia collaboration, and student development. To his credit he has papers presented in IIMB-DCAL Conference and co-authored many papers along with the students. He has also been associated with IT consulting start-ups too, providing him with valuable exposure to the evolving technology and business ecosystem.

Dr. Anandh holds a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. His doctoral research was focused on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software perspectives in India.

Adopting Product Life Cycle Management Systems in Industries: A Review of the Barriers in PLM System Adoption
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) hastens the development of a product and enhances profitability by linking employees, processes and information across all stages of a product’s lifecycle. Organizations are aware of the benefits of adopting a PLM system that it promotes efficiency in the product development process for the product to enter the market sooner, while helping in minimizing bottlenecks and creating a central database for all product information for everyone to access at any time. However, organizations do have certain barriers that hamper its adoption. The present review explores these barriers. These barriers are categorized and discussed, and solutions are suggested to overcome them. The review ends with a discussion on directions for future research.

Recent Advances in Pedestrian Identification using LiDAR and Deep Learning methods in Autonomous vehicles,
The myriad benefits of autonomous vehicles (AVs) encompassing passenger convenience, heightened safety, fuel consumption reduction, traffic decongestion, accident mitigation, cost-efficiency and heightened dependability have underpinned their burgeoning popularity. Prior to their full-scale integration into primary road networks substantial functional impediments in AVs necessitate resolution. An indispensable feature for AVs is pedestrian detection crucial for collision avoidance. Advent of automated driving is swiftly materializing owing to consistent deployment of deep learning (DL) methodologies for obstacle identification coupled with expeditious evolution of sensor and communication technologies exemplified by LiDAR systems. This study undertakes exploration of DL-based pedestrian detection algorithms with particular focus on YOLO and R CNN for purpose of processing intricate imagery akin to LiDAR sensor outputs. Recent epochs have witnessed DL approaches emerge as potentially potent avenue for augmenting real-time obstacle recognition and avoidance capabilities of autonomous vehicles. Within this scholarly exposition we undertake exhaustive examination of latest breakthroughs in pedestrian detection leveraging synergy of LiDAR and DL systems. This discourse comprehensively catalogues most pressing unresolved issues within realm of LiDAR-DL solutions furnishing compass for prospective researchers embarking on journey to forge forthcoming generation of economically viable autonomous vehicles.

Applications of AI for Tier 1 Automotive Companies in Achieving ESG Goals and its Significance
The presence and use of artificial intelligence (AI) is increasing across the various facets of modern society. At the same time, there is an increased emphasis on sustainability-related matters. Large organizations are required to demonstrate their commitment to the environment and society and also to divulge and report on related activities. This is performed through a varied group of frameworks, standards, and metrics associated with what is termed ESG (environment, social, governance). The purpose of this paper is twofold. Firstly, it seeks to analyze how AI has been applied in various areas including sustainable supply chain, product responsibility, corporate behavior, and other areas. Secondly, the paper seeks to understand the significance of achieving these ESG goals for Tier 1 automotive supply firms in India and make relevant recommendations for practice. This study is of considerable significance because of the increased manufacturing of electric vehicles (EVs) in India and will help enhance the competitive edge of Indian firms in the global automotive marketplace.

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in India - A Sales Management perspective with reference to Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers;


Sales management is critical to the success of manufacturing organizations, particularly in the increasingly competitive automotive component industry. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions help automotive suppliers manage product-related data, improve product quality, and optimize lifecycle processes. Growing demand for PLM solutions has intensified competition among software vendors, necessitating effective sales strategies. This study examines the impact of various sales strategies on the successful selling of PLM solutions to Tier-1 automotive suppliers in India. Data were collected from manager-level sales professionals and PLM software development professionals across India using random sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including MANOVA, regression analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings reveal that vendors' offerings significantly influence sales strategies, while customer considerations mediate the relationship between sales strategies and successful selling. Salesperson profiles also significantly influence sales outcomes. The study provides recommendations for vendors to enhance PLM sales effectiveness.
