Dr. Anil Kumar T.V. has completed Postdoctoral Research at Rajagiri Business School and holds a Ph.D. in Management from Pondicherry University, an MBA from Bharathiar University, and a B.Sc. in Criminology from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. He is UGC-NET and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) qualified, and brings over 10 years of experience in teaching and research. His research interests include consumer behaviour, consumer psychology, digital consumer behaviour, and business research. He has published in reputed Scopus-indexed and ABDC-category journals and has presented research papers at several national and international conferences, receiving multiple Best Research Paper awards. In recognition of his academic and research contributions, he received the Research Award for Significant Contribution from Rajagiri Business School in 2025. He possesses expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, structural equation modeling, and statistical tools such as SPSS, AMOS, and SmartPLS, and has served as a resource person for research methodology and data analysis workshops.
This research explores how trust mechanisms, including website reputation and third-party assurance, influence users’ willingness to engage with luxury e-commerce platforms. The findings demonstrate the role of trust in enhancing perceived value and improving consumer intentions to use luxury shopping websites, offering implications for digital marketers and luxury brands.
