About

Dr. Saina is an educator in Economics with nearly two decades of teaching experience in higher education. She holds an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in Economics, and her teaching interests include Managerial Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Entrepreneurial Economics, Business Economics, and International Business.

Her research interests include Economic Policy, Mergers and Acquisitions and FDI. She has published research in peer-reviewed journals and is the author of a teaching case published by Ivey Publishing. She was also a recipient of an ICSSR Minor Research Grant and was part of the research team that prepared the Socio-Economic Health Impact Report 2025 for the TCS World 10K Bengaluru. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Saina has conducted corporate training programmes for organisations including Wipro and Infosys.

Dr. Saina has served as the Deputy Director at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Bengaluru, where she contributed to academic administration, institutional governance, and strategic initiatives alongside her teaching and research responsibilities.
