About

Dr. Sarannya V. Pillai has taught a wide range of courses in English literature, ecocriticism, and Indian Writing in English at Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru. She holds an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Commonwealth Literature from the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, and is UGC-NET qualified. Her research explores the intersections of ecocriticism, mythology, African literature, and Indian Writing in English. She has published book chapters and scholarly articles and presented papers at national and international seminars and conferences on ecocriticism, postcolonial literature, and feminist literary criticism.
