About

Usha Kiran T M is an educator and researcher with interests in finance, accounting, macroeconomics, and climate change. She is currently pursuing her PhD at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), focusing on the impact of climate transition risk on financial stability and its macroeconomic transmission channels.

From 2022 to 2026, she served as a Teaching Associate at CHRIST University, where she taught postgraduate courses in finance, accounting, research methodology, and data analysis. She has also mentored postgraduate research projects and contributed to NBA, AACSB, and NAAC-related academic initiatives.

Her research interests include climate transition risks, renewable energy, sustainable development, and economic resilience. She has presented her research at conferences hosted by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kashipur. Her paper presented at IIM Ahmedabad’s International Management Research Conference 2025 received the Best Paper – Runner-up award. She aspires to contribute to a dynamic student-centric learning environment through impactful research, innovative pedagogy, and interdisciplinary academic initiatives.
