“Dr. Ananya Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Jalandhar in March 2024, where her research focused on optimizing task offloading in integrated Cloud-Fog-IoT frameworks using a modified swarm intelligence algorithm. She also holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Jalandhar.
Her research interests span Cloud Computing, optimization algorithms, and the integration of emerging technologies in IoT systems. Dr. Chakraborty is particularly interested in how these technologies can be leveraged to build efficient, scalable, and sustainable systems for real-world applications.
As an educator, Dr. Chakraborty is committed to fostering a learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and the practical application of theoretical concepts. She is passionate about helping students navigate the rapidly changing landscape of technology by providing insights from recent advancements in her field.
