Dr. Madhu Karnat S. is an Assistant Professor at RV University’s School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, specialising in Psychology. Completed PhD in Psychology from University of Mysore. Acquired experience from both academia and clinical practice, having previously served as an Assistant Professor at GITAM and Jain (Deemed to be University), and as a Well Being Officer for the Karnataka State Police. His research interests lie in Counselling and Clinical Psychology. And dedicated educator, committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for his students. Clinical experience includes working as a Clinical Psychologist at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, where he provided individual and group therapy to patients with various mental health disorders. He also served as a Well Being Officer for the Karnataka State Police, developing and implementing mental health programs for police officers. He is committed to advancing the field of psychology through research, teaching, and service, and he is passionate about empowering individuals and communities to achieve optimal well-being.
