Shilpika Bordoloi is a filmmaker, performer, educator and curator. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Brahmaputra Cultural Foundation (BCF). She has been a visiting faculty to many Universities including the National School of Drama and National Institute of Design and at State University of Film and Television, Haryana. Shilpika has been awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for Contemporary/Experimental Dance in India amongst other awards. Currently she is exploring the broad umbrella of Body Wisdom where healing modalities, stage, film and community work intersect in a multi-dimensional way. Her work intersects Somatic Movement, Ecology, Indigenous Knowledge Systems in the backdrop of the crisis of climate and culture.

• Katha Yatra: A continually evolving work called Katha Yatra – a research-based understanding of river Brahmaputra. The impressions and understandings of art, culture, bio-diversity, identity, migration, displacement, development, the hopes and aspirations of the people inhabiting the banks of the Brahmaputra, is encapsulated in the project – which is part documentation and part re-imagination of the cultural, identity and environmental landscape of the river.
• Bamboo Bodies: is a multi-disciplinary workshop to immerse in the sensorial, elemental and imaginative world of Bamboo through touch, sound, movement, film.
