The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SoLAS) offers unique opportunities to acquire domain knowledge and generic skills enhancing students’ capacity to face the professional and personal challenges of our time. Our teaching/learning is rigorous, interdisciplinary and future oriented. Our students have opportunities to participate in a range of curricular and extra-curricular activities to acquire competencies and acquire facility for navigating real world professional and personal challenges. The learners are given wide-ranging opportunities to design their unique educational journey by choosing among a large basket of major, minor and elective courses. Our experienced, passionate faculty are drawn from the best of the universities and organisations. Our national and international collaborations provide opportunities for students to engage in internships and other collaborative activities enhancing and complementing their classroom learnings. Our pedagogy is aimed at developing thoughtful and creative individuals striving for excellence in their chosen fields of specialisation.

Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SoLAS). We are a multi-disciplinary School educating young minds to excel in their chosen area of specialisations. Our pedagogy is structured to enable our learners to successfully navigate complex realities. We are driven to not only train our students to acquire comprehensive and in-depth knowledge in their areas of specialisation, we also place equal emphasis on acquiring broad and generic skills that will help the learners to creatively engage with complexities of professional and personal contexts. Our trained, experienced and passionate faculty use innovative, immersive and relatable teaching methods to make our classrooms lively and engaging. We expect our graduates to excel in their chosen areas and creatively engage with social, economic, political and ethical issues. Our students are encouraged to conceive careers, in a broader sense, to contribute to the larger good of the society. At our School, we believe education to be a key catalyst in developing capabilities, orientations and skills that will enhance learners’ capacity to lead a meaningful and successful life.
