Brief Profile:
Prateek Khandelwal is the Founder and Managing Director of a social startup, RampMyCity. He started this initiative after suffering a paraplegia due to a Spinal Cord Injury in 2014. This initiative has been widely appreciated as a one-of-a-kind start-up to improve the quality of living of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

RampMyCity was founded in 2019 with the vision of doing on-ground accessibility interventions in the public and private sectors through simple infrastructural solutions and adequate human training. It is an accessibility start-up that provides a range of services like end-to-end physical infrastructure solutions, Accessibility Audits, Implementation Support, Design Appraisals, Training, Awareness, and Sensitisation for Disability Inclusion.

Prateek has spearheaded RampMyCity's growth, making it one of the most sought-after companies providing end-to-end solutions for disability inclusion. Under his leadership, in less than 4 years, RampMyCity has made 500+ places of public usage accessible for PwDs. Some of these places are Church Street, Bengaluru, Cyber Hub, Gurgaon, many police stations in Bengaluru, and Galleria Market, Gurgaon. A growing list of reputed clientele, including Accenture, KPMG, American Express, Walmart, OYO, and Dunzo among many others, vouches for their accessibility solutions RampMyCity's work has been appreciated by international bodies such as UNICEF, W.H.O., and World Bank, and has been covered by several national and international media organisations including BBC News. Prateek has been awarded NCPEDP-Mphasis Universal Design Award, Rajkumari Gauravi Kumari Award, and CNN Network 18 Award for his dynamic and inspiring work.
