He is an Associate Professor of Economics and Director, Center for New Economics Studies, of the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities at O.P. Jindal Global University. His research work intersects the areas of law and economics, political economy, and development economics. Dr. Mohan’s work has been published in journals like Asian Ethnicity (Routledge), Cities, Asian Journal of Social Sciences (NUS), Asian Journal of Public Affairs (NUS), Oxford University Press (UK), and Springer Nature, to mention a few. He is also a regular contributor for Mint, The Wire, Deccan Herald, Fortune (India), The Print, The Hindu (Business Line), India Today’s Mail Today, and East Asia Forum (ANU).
