Dr. Revan Kumar Joshi is a faculty member in the field of oral medicine and radiology. He is currently working as a faculty member in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at D A P M R V Dental College & Hospital, India.
He is the General Secretary of South Asian Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology, India. He is a Convener in the Oral Health Sub-committee, Karnataka Health Vision Group, Ministry for Health and Medical Education, Government of Karnataka, India. He is a Joint Secretary at CAMHADD Tri-Sector Preventive Health Care Foundation (CTPHCF), Bangalore. He is also a Special Research Associate at Showa University School of Dentistry, Tokyo, Japan.
Dr.Joshi also serves as a consultant radiologist at several diagnostic centers in Bangalore and other cities in India. He has an impressive academic background, holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from R.V. Dental College & Hospital and a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) with a specialization in oral medicine and radiology from M.R. Ambedkar Dental College & Hospital, both affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka, India. He has been recognized for his achievements and contributions to the field, receiving the Young International Scientist Award.
He has authored or co-authored several scientific papers, covering topics such as subjective sialorrhea, Xerostomia, and the correlation between panoramic radiographic signs and high-risk anatomical factors for impacted third molars. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys spending time reading books, going on mountain hikes, and participating in treks.
