Abstract
Einstein vigorously disagreed with Bohr about the completeness of quantum mechanics. In a letter to Bohr, Einstein referred to quantum entanglement as “spukhafte Fernwirkung”; i.e., “spooky action at a distance”. We shall discuss the resolution of the Bohr-Einstein debate in the light of Bell’s theorem. We will analyze the non-local description of reality that emerges from the description of quantum entanglement and the quantum revolution that it has led to. Quantum technologies associated with non-local reality would impact our lives at multiple levels, from teleportation and cyber-security to drug design.
