Shri. Rajeev Sethi
(Padma Bhushan, India's First Scenographer)

Noted internationally for his cross-cultural practice, Padma Bhushan Rajeev Sethi is acknowledged as South Asia's first Scenographer.
As Founding Trustee and Chairperson of the Asian Heritage Foundation, he will today position their combined effort to preserve and celebrate the subcontinent's rich cultural heritage.
Mr. Sethi's work in design and architecture, performances and festivals, exhibitions and publications, policy and program, for over five decades, has identified ways to bring contemporary relevance to traditional skills of vulnerable artisan communities and creative stakeholders. His unique thinking and proactive interventions have created a benchmark of legacy enterprises in an era of mass production and globalization.
