Dr. B Renuka Prasad is an Associate Professor & Associate Dean (Academics and Projects) at the RV College of Engineering. With close to two decades of teaching experience, Prof. Renuka has published many papers and chapters in the international journals and books. His patent on Method, System and Apparatus for Location-based Dynamic Seat Reservation and Status Display” was filed in March 2018. Prof. Renuka has developed an IoT platform for an OEM energy meter. Throughout his career, he has consulted many firms and companies on several projects. With a PhD in Network Security Domain, he has also conducted 100+ trainings IoT and FoSS across India. A highly enthusiastic and energetic academician, who believes in bringing changes in academia to make young students more curious about adapting, simple, innovative and scientific approaches in their learning journey. His areas of interests are Computer Networks security & Free and Open Source Softwares, Internet of Things. Prof. Renuka has been a faculty fellow at HBCSE, TIFR, Mumbai.
