Dr. Raghavendra

Dr. Raghavendra began his career in academics at Srinivas Institute of Management Studies, Mangalore in June 2002. In 2009, he joined Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) as Head of the Dept of MBA. He joined the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in the year 2015 and headed ‘The Centre for Advanced Learning in Finance and Accounting’ which offers various courses in financial accounting, management accounting, insurance, and economics including IFRS, Tally, ACCA, CIMA, and CMA. He joined the School of Business, VIT-AP University (VSB) in May 2021 as a Professor of Finance and Associate Dean. His areas of interest include Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Derivatives. He has been an active participant in the Indian capital market since 2002 and obtained the NSE Certified Financial Manager (NCFM) certification awarded by the National Stock Exchange and NISM in the Capital Market (Dealers) Module and Derivative Core Modules. He is also an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Advisor (ARMFA) from the Association of Mutual Funds of India. He also owns a stock broking firm at Moodbidri, Mangaluru.
