Suparna Diwakar is one of the founders of the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM) and holds the position of Dean of Research and Academics. She has over three decades of experience in rural development, community mobilization, and education. She has also founded and led social purpose organizations such as Adamya Chetana and the Centre for Leadership and Management in Public Services and has consulted with the Azim Premji Foundation. She is a mentor at the SEWA Internation not-for-profit organization that is inspired by the noble tradition of service before self, working to promote voluntarism internationally, especially among children, youth, women, and energetic senior citizens. Her current interests are in the application of regenerative paradigms in development, leadership, and organization development. She is a keen explorer of the rich Indic Knowledge Systems (IKS) and the deep wisdom and insights that IKS can contribute to the creation of a regenerative world. Prof Suparna has a masters from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management from Symbiosis.
