Sheba Pari N.

Mrs. Sheba Pari N., is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at RV University, Bengaluru, Karnataka. She received her B.E from VTU in the year 2006 and M.Tech. from RVCE in VTU in the year 2009. She is an Alumni of RVCE. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in the area of Cyber Security in Social Networks from VIT University, Vellore. She has over 11 years of teaching experience in various Engineering colleges in Bangalore. Her area of specializations includes Computer Networking, Cyber Security.

Kunal Dutta

Kunal Dutta studied Fashion Design from the first generation fashion school in the country – National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, and holds a Masters in Fashion & Textiles from Nottingham Trent University, UK. Currently, he is pursuing a second Masters in Education from IGNOU, Delhi. As an early millennial design-student, he had the opportunity to learn from and interact with masters of Art, Design, Craft, Architecture & Textiles, and many legendary professors of NID, CEPT University, IIM Ahmedabad, MSU Vadodara & MICA Ahmedabad. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the diverse areas of apparel / textile design, visual merchandising & exhibition design, graphic & visual communication design and subsequently aesthetic curating & art direction for a variety of creative industries. In the last 14 years, he has dedicated his time to ‘Design Education’ & nurtured young talents in esteemed institutes like NIFT, IICD Jaipur, Pearl Academy, UID & Srishti Manipal Institute along with Domus Academy (Milan, Italy) as an exchange faculty, while simultaneously pursuing a personal research-based practice in visual art. He has worked at various hierarchy levels, from an absolute hands-on-ground execution of design projects up-to contributing towards core strategic planning, curriculum design, industry-academia liaisons, academic leadership & holistic institution building. Within various levels of engagement with design academia, his specialised areas of teaching have been – design process & development; fashion research & decoding, design writing & analysis; craft, culture & aesthetics appreciation; drawing, illustration & digital design; identity, portfolio & fashion publication design etc. He also conducts specialised design relevant workshops/tutorials and design-thinking sprints with young design aspirants across the country, and is frequently invited to speak on different facets of design at masterclass sessions & seminars. He often serves as a guest faculty/speaker, external-examiner & jury member for design schools at NIFT, Srishti Manipal Institute, Manipal University, Karnavati University, KIIT University, Amity University, Delhi Public School, IIS University, JECRC University and others.

Anand Narasimhamurthy

Anand Narasimhamurthy completed his B.E. in Electronics and Communication from University Visveswaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) in 1998. Subsequently he obtained his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University. He worked as a Research Scientist at GE Global Research Bengaluru for five years. He has spent more than a decade in the education domain, his experience ranges from teaching foundational courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels as well as corporate trainings and specializations for senior working professionals. His research interests include machine learning, applied algorithms and combinatorial optimization.

Ashutosh Tiwari

ASHUTOSH TIWARI (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the Department of Mathematics at South Asian University, New Delhi, India, in 2024. He has presented his papers internationally, including at FUZZ IEEE 2022 in Padua, Italy, and FUZZ IEEE 2023 in Songdo, South Korea. These presentations were funded by South Asian University and the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). Additionally, he was awarded the IEEE-CIS Grant for conference paper presentations. His research focuses on intuitionistic fuzzy sets, uncertainty in decision making, ranking techniques, pattern recognition, and clustering. He is a Student Member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

Dr Logasakthi Kandasamy

Dr. Logasakthi Kandasamy is an Associate Professor of School of Business at RV University, Bengaluru. With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years, Dr. Logasakthi is an Alumni of XLRI NCR-New Delhi, completed his post graduate program in Digital HR transformation & People Analytics. He has published numerous articles in Scopus & ABDC indexed journals and he published two books with social interest on Empowering women, Organic farming, and Climate change by his regional language. Two of his case studies were published in the UK Case centre. His research focuses include impact of emotional intelligence, AI influences on detecting employee’s emotion for industrial productivity and other contemporary social challenges. Dr Logasakthi has been awarded his Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) from Anna University, Chennai. Qualified with UGC-NET and Tamil Nadu State Government’s State Eligibility Test (SET) for Assistant Professor in 2012. He has received best faculty award from one of the Promising Engineering Institution at Tamil Nadu and won Best research paper award twice from the International Conference organized by Private Universities in India. He is a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and certified Professional trainer in Outbound Training (OBT) from IIPE, Canada. Dr.Logasakthi has conducted MDP sessions for leading companies’ executives and functional managers on various areas such as Strategic Team Building, Workplace cohesiveness, Conflict Management and Creative Problem solving.

Her illustrious career at RV College of Engineering has been marked by numerous leadership roles, each underscoring her commitment to academic excellence and institutional advancement. Having served as the Director of MCA, Dean of PG Studies, and Head of the Computer Science & Engineering Department, Dr. Shobha has left an indelible mark on the institution’s academic landscape. Her leadership has not only propelled the growth of these departments but has also nurtured a culture of innovation and intellectual inquiry among students and faculty alike.

Dr. Shobha’s influence extends beyond the confines of RV College of Engineering. She has played a pivotal role in organizing international conferences, where her expertise and insights have garnered acclaim. Her contributions to academia have been further recognized through her invitations as a resource person at various international conferences and Faculty Development Programs. Furthermore, Dr. Shobha’s presence has been felt on a global scale as she has chaired sessions at prestigious international conferences, lending her expertise and guidance to scholarly discussions and academic discourse. Through her unwavering dedication and visionary leadership, Dr. G. Shobha has not only shaped the trajectory of RV College of Engineering but has also made significant contributions to the broader academic community.

She has an active and diverse research record in the area of Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, with 150 publications in reputed journals and conferences. She has executed sponsored projects worth INR 300 lakhs funded from various agencies nationally and internationally. She has filed four patents with one patent granted. She is also an advisory committee member for IET India Scholarship Award from 2021.
