Prashant Singh currently serves as the Assistant Professor at the School of Law, RV University. His academic work focuses on citizenship law, transitional justice and SOGIESC issues. His writings have been published in academic journals as well as various media platforms. Prior to joining RVU, he worked with intergovernmental organisations like Asian Development Bank and a range of civil society organisations at the national, regional and international levels including Intersex Asia, the International Centre for Not-for-Profit Law, Centre for Internet and Society, ILGA World. He completed his undergraduate law degree from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab and graduate legal studies from Jindal Global Law School. In 2021, he received the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to study M.A. Programme in Human Rights Policy and Practice at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), the University of Deusto (Spain), the University of Roehampton (UK), and the University of Tromsø (Norway).
