Prof. Pritam Kumar Ghosh has joined the School of Law, RV University in the capacity of Assistant Professor. He has completed Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBALLB) from Symbiosis Law School, Pune followed by Master of Laws (LLM) in international law and human rights from NUJS, Kolkata. He is also on the verge of completing his Doctoral Degree Studies (PhD) in Private International Family Law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. He has maintained an excellent academic record throughout his career.
He has a total of 13 years of experience combining industry, research and academics which includes a brief stint as legal editor with LexisNexis Butterworths Publications, Gurgaon. He teaches and specializes in Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Family Law, Public & Private International Law, Legal Methods, Public Law, and Jurisprudence. He has also taught business law, organizational behaviour, and economic development of India to BBA and MBA students.
Prof. Ghosh is a recipient of the HENRY DUNANT MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP awarded by the INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR THE RED CROSS (ICRC) for having achieved excellence in the masters’ dissertation. He has been a co-investigator in research projects initiated by various national and international bodies such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the National Commission for Women (NCW). He also has several publications in national and international journals and paper presentations in national and international conferences to his credit.
