Vandana is working as Assistant Professor (Analytics) in RVU. She is teaching subjects viz Database Management, Machine Learning, Data Visualization and Data Analytics. She has been associated with companies viz Bank of America, Mastercard, WNS and Duetsche Bank. Vandana has 14 years of Corporate Experience. Out of which, 5 years is in corporate teaching. She has extensively worked across domains like BFSI, Retail and Healthcare sector. She has taught students across diverse backgrounds of different levels (Junior, Middle and Senior). She believes that, ‘Work done is better than Work said’ and that is what she inculcates in her work.

- Plant Disease Detection: Built a Deep learning model that can accurately detect and classify plant diseases from images. This involved pre-processing the Image Data, training a convolution neural network (CNN), and evaluating the model’s performance on a test dataset. Transfer learning technique was also used where model was pre-trained on models like ResNet or Inception for better accuracy
