Dr. Dattatreya P. Mankame serves as Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at RV University, Bengaluru. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and is currently pursuing a Post-Doctoral program at Lincoln University College, Malaysia. With over 32 years of distinguished experience—comprising more than nine years in the IT industry and over twenty-three years in academics and administration—Dr. Dattatreya P. Mankame is recognized for his leadership, research acumen, and commitment to academic excellence.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dattatreya P. Mankame has significantly contributed to institutional development by leading key initiatives such as ISO 9001:2008 & 2015 certifications, NBA accreditation, NAAC A++ grade, and NIRF recognition. He has also held several leadership roles including Vice Principal, Chief NBA Coordinator, and Chairman of Boards of Studies and Examinations, while mentoring faculty, students, and research scholars across multiple disciplines.

Dr. Dattatreya P. Mankame has actively fostered academia–industry collaboration through partnerships with leading organizations such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Oracle, Red Hat, Tata Elxsi, and NTT Data, promoting curriculum innovation, research, internships, and skill development initiatives. As a VTU-recognized Ph.D. supervisor, he continues to guide research scholars in cutting-edge areas of Computer Science.

A prolific academician, Dr. Mankame has authored over 30 research publications in reputed international journals and conferences, a textbook titled “Data Structures and Object-Oriented Programming in C++”, and holds six Indian patents. His contributions have been acknowledged through several accolades, including the prestigious Jyestha Acharya Award (2024) for outstanding service and dedication to higher education.
