About ICGCV-2024
The International Conference on Global Criminology and Victimology (ICGCV) – 2024 is a multidisciplinary event that unites scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and experts from across the globe to deliberate and exchange ideas on various facets of crime, victimisation, and justice systems globally. This conference seeks to revitalise core principles by reflecting on the foundational pillars of Criminology and Victimology, ensuring their relevance and adaptability to contemporary Indian society. The significance of this conference is immense to safeguard and reinforce Criminology and Victimology as essential disciplines within India’s academic and law enforcement realms. Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be submitted on or before 15 June 2024. Abstracts submitted after this date will be rejected directly without any reviews.
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the link provided below.
- The submission must include a title, abstract, keywords and author information
- Abstracts should be structured and concise, typically containing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Although not all abstracts will conform to this format, they should all contain enough information to frame the problem and orient the conclusions.
- The abstract text should not exceed 300 words.
- The abstract submitted can only have maximum of three authors.
- The authors will receive the abstract review result on or before 25 June 2024.
- Please ensure that the submitted abstracts are original works and have not been previously published or presented elsewhere.
- Please refrain from submitting papers that are purely descriptive or merely provide an overview of a topic. Originality is highly valued, so avoid any form of plagiarism in your abstract.

Participants registering under the UG/PG Students and Ph.D./Research Scholars categories must be enrolled in a full-time course at a recognised college or university. Key Information
- Registration for the conference and pre-conference workshop has to be made separately.
- Payment for the conference and pre-conference workshop must be made separately.
- The pre-conference workshop is exclusively available to students and research scholars and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The pre-conference workshop has a maximum capacity of 60 participants. Once we reach this limit, the registration link for the pre-conference workshop will be disabled.
- All participants are required to register individually and submit payments corresponding to their respective categories.
Accommodation
To make the conference participation easy for all participants, especially students, the conference committee has decided to provide accommodation on two sharing bases at a reasonable price. We have two types of accommodation: PG student accommodation and Budget hotel accommodation. We have limited accommodation spaces available, which will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We request that you contact the conference organising committee for further information at icgcv2024@rvu.edu.in
We will help international participants find suitable accommodation and an airport transfer at a reasonable price. Please get in touch with the conference organising committee with your request.
