I hold a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from IISc, Bangalore, with over 22 years of experience spanning research labs, industry, and academia. My career began at DRDO, Delphi, and GE, where I contributed to innovative projects in aerospace and automotive engineering. Later, as a faculty member at PES University and Dayananda Sagar University, I combined my passion for teaching with impactful research.
As a Principal Investigator, I led multiple funded projects, including an ARDB-sponsored study on active flutter suppression using shape memory alloys and several initiatives supported by Dassault Systèmes La Fondation. These projects focused on eco-friendly materials, hybrid composites, and 3D-printed structures.
My contributions include journal publications, conference presentations, and patents, reflecting my expertise in materials, structural mechanics, and design. Currently, I am passionate about soft robotics, exploring its applications in integrating advanced materials with automation.
