Parth Sharma

Mr. Parth Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, RV University. He specializes in Forensic Psychology, Criminology and Victimology. He has over 5 years of industry experience in the domains of investigations, investigative and social research, counselling, content development and marketing. He has worked with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, New Delhi in the Child Labour vertical and the Directorate of Forensic Sciences, Gandhinagar in the Forensic Psychology division. He is trained for the role of mediator in Restorative Justice at National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences, New Delhi and has delivered lectures in several government colleges in Lucknow on Criminology and Forensic Psychology. Along with working in the digital forensics domain he has also served as Associate Area Director at Toastmasters International. He has also trained various IPS officers, Central Vigilance Committee officers, research scholars and students on Forensic Psychological Investigative instruments (Polygraph, BEOS, LVA, SDS) at the National Forensic Sciences University. His research interests revolve around the integration of Victimology, Criminology and Forensic Psychology.

Dolashree Mysoor graduated from University College London with an LLM in Jurisprudence & Legal Theory. She has worked in academic institutions including Azim Premji University and O.P. Jindal Global University in different capacities. Her research interests include Jurisprudence, Queer Theory, Feminist Theory, Contract Law & Theory, Law & Marginalisation and Critical Legal Studies. She teaches Legal Methods and Law of Contract at the School of Law, RVU. She is also the Programme Director for the B.A. LLB. programme at RVU.

I have done M.Tech in Computing and Mathematics from IIT Palakkad, Karala. Passionate about teaching and learning, and I love to collaborate on projects and research.

A passionate educator with 30 years of extensive experience in academia and professional practice, I’m enthusiastic about equipping students with the skills and ethical foundation to excel in finance. My research focuses on Basel III regulations and their impact on banking stability and governance. “My approach is to move students from the classroom to the boardroom through methodical teaching combined with hands-on practical experiences. I integrate the teaching pedagogy using the latest window-based application tools and case studies.”

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, be it linguistic group, ethnicity, or economic strata. I start with the assumption that they all have the same goals of becoming successful professionals; and it is my job to make their story possible. As many students have kept in touch after passing out, I see that I have been able to contribute in my own way to facilitate their journey. This gives me a great deal of satisfaction. I have seen how though mere the physical presence, I could give them the assurance of inclusion. I revere teaching as a field. The method of teaching I believe in is the “walk with them” approach. It encourages students to share their feelings and aspirations; I try to help them progress on their journey. I give them a basic framework upon which they build and add on details of their choice—at the end of the day, it is their painting, not my drawing. That’s my process, one that I deeply enjoy and value.
